• Reading: Still on Zonal Marking
• Work: My team is hiring (job application link)! Let me know if this interests you
• Tech: I've been experimenting with throwing 38M lines of JSON at ElasticSearch. It works amazingly well for ingestion and querying. The Docker setup is both amazing and frustratingly cumbersome (copying out the HTTP CA cert in order to POST data is not obvious)
• Notes: I'm mostly satisfied with my note taking assistant that downloads all my subscribed Phabricator tasks into my local Denote store. Then in Emacs I can use SPC s n to quickly find a Phab task (much like I currently rely on my browser URL history bar) or SPC s p to search within tasks, much faster than I can use the remote web instance ✨
• Language: I've switched my phone and OS language to Deutsch. Let's see how long that lasts 😅
